Mission International School Cambodia Principal

Hello

Greetings,

What inspired you to become the first Headteacher of Mission International School Cambodia?

The appeal for me initially was the very good reputation of everyone already involved, Pastor Abraham etc. I know there are a lot of educators trying their best in this corner of Asia to build great new schools but I havent encountered any that captured the richness of my own grammar school where I was educated back in England. I’ve had a passion to build a great new Christian school and when the time was right I’d make my move. That time is now.

What makes MISC different from other schools in Cambodia or internationally?

We’re coming into the industry with a clean slate, a great sense of purpose and a team with a shared mission and vision. Most schools in Cambodia are made up of teachers in transition who freely move around and adopt whatever ethos the flavor of the school. I’ve been in Cambodia for five years, training Western teachers, teaching and managing online, professionals based in Taiwan and other international locations. I wasn’t prepared to be the senior educator teaching and managing local Khmer students until I found the right place, team and mission. In MISC, I’ve found that.

What kind of students do you hope to see grow at MISC?
We want to produce graduates who want to be influential, to be leaders, to be professional operators in society, looking to build and improve their own local communities and the country as a whole. I love it when students are curious, good-natured, empathetic and we're hoping to install good Christian values in all of our students.

Lastly, what would you like to say to the students who will be joining MISC?
I commit to you one hundred percent, my dream is to make your dreams a reality so please join us and let’s build a wonderful school full of success stories.

Hello

Greetings,

Thank you for visiting MISC.

I believe that Education not only determines the future of an individual, but also determines the future of one nation.

Our school aims to bring up the wisdom of students to develop students’ potentials so that it makes their lives happy.

Not only that, but we want to nurture them into matured leaders who employ their powers to make people and the world joyful.

Today’s world is in need of talented people who can actively cope with the rapid changes caused by the 4th industrial revolution. Our school wishes to incubate  passionate and challenging students who can solve problems through creativity, convergence and cooperation.

To this end, our school has built an environment optimized for educational activities.

The classroom is designed to accommodate free discussions and various types of activities.

The library will help students to familiarize themselves with various information and cultures.

The auditorium has a structure optimized for wide stage performances so that students can freely express their talents.

Students will exercise, relax and make memories on our beautiful campus.

MISC is passionate about offering excellent instruction in its best settings for students, and we will successfully achieve our educational goals with committed teachers and first-rate education programs.

I hope there will be pride and happiness on the path you walk with MISC.
