Sharing Kindness in Our Community: Student Outreach

1 min read

On 22 September, our students visited families in need living near the school as part of their Mission class activities.

The students organised the visit themselves.

They pooled their own pocket money to buy milk, snacks and other treats for the children they would be meeting.

It was wonderful to see them give up something of their own so they could bring a little joy to others.

During the visit, our students spent time with the children colouring pictures and reading storybooks together.

They then handed over the gifts they had prepared.

There were plenty of smiles all round, and new friendships began to form over the afternoon.

Back at school, the students wrote reflections on the experience.

Many said that giving to others brought them more happiness than they had expected, and that they hoped to take part in more outreach in the future.

We are very proud of our students for their generosity and compassion.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this visit possible.
